Kelli Chaulk
Kelli participated in the THS Band all 4 years of her high school career.
During the fall, she was found on the field as a member of the colorguard,
and during concert season she played the clarinet. In the fall of 2000,
Kelli can be found at King College where she will be majoring in education.
She will continue her education in the ETSU Master's Program for Behavioral
Science.
Brandon Denton
Brandon was a 4 year member of the THS Band. Mr. Denton participated
in the THS drumline during marching seasons, and played bassoon during
symphonic
band. Brandon will be attending East Tennessee State University on a
music scholarship and will be majoring in psychology and minoring in
music. Brandon
will be performing with the ETSU Marching Band, as well as playing bassoon
in the ETSU Wind Ensemble.
Jaimee Kieffer
Jaimee has also been a 4 year member of the band. She participated
in the colorguard during marching season, and played saxophone in symphonic
band.
Jaimee also participated in winter guard. This fall, she will be attending
Asbury College, in Wilmore, KY, still undecided on a major.
Carrie Siegart
Carrie was also a very busy member of the band. She marched all 4 years
of her high school life, in the guard, and played flute/piccolo in the
THS Symphonic Band. She was also an active member of the Winterguard.
Carrie will be attending Auburn University, where she will majoring
in nursing.
Miss. Siegart will also be a part of the Auburn University Colorguard!
Renada Silver
Renada too spent all 4 years in the band. She marched with the guard
during the fall, and played flute and oboe in symphonic band, as well
as participating
in winter guard. Next year, Renada will be attending David Lipscomb University
in Nashville, TN. Renada will be majoring in life orientated psychology
and minoring in youth ministry. She plans to be extremely busy, as she
will march in the colorguard at Vanderbilt University, will be a member
of the University Singers, will be working with the Big Brothers, Big
Sisters Agency, will be pledging to a social club, and she will also
be going on
a mission trip to Mexico.
Matt Whitley
Mr. Whitely came to THS in the winter of 1998-1999. Transferring from
his band in Virginia, Matt picked right up where he left off, and joined
the
THS band, playing trumpet. He finished out his junior year in concert
season, and then marched as well as participated in symphonic season
his senior
year. Next year, Matt will be going to The University of Tennessee at
Knoxville, where he plans to major in pre-med. Matt will also be a
part of UT's own "Pride
of the Southland" Marching Band!
Jeremy Woods
Jeremy will be going quite a distance after graduation. Jeremy too
was a 4 year band member, marching sousaphone as well as playing tuba
in the
THS Symphonic Band. Jeremy will be attending Spartan Aeronautical School,
where he plans to study Aviation Maintenance
