Coach Mike Mays has been with the Tennessee High football program since coming over from Volunteer High School in 1999. He has coached the defensive backs since coming here, but has recently added defensive coordinator to his title. Coach Mays played many sports at Farragut High School in Knoxville and was a four year letterman for the ETSU football team. He is married to Angie Mays and is the father of 2 boys, Michael and Mason. Coach Mays is the former head wrestling coach, and now coordinates the strength and conditioning programs for all of the school's teams.
