Coach David Boggs has been a part of Viking athletics for 8 years.  During that time he has coached football, softball, and girls basketball at Vance Middle School, as well as softball at Tennessee High.  Before becoming a viking, he coached football at Blountville Middle School for 5 years.  Coach Boggs high school football was played at Sullivan Central where he was a defensive end.  He is married and has two children.  He received his teaching degree from Virginia Intermont.  He also earned a masters in curriculum and instruction from Walden University.  This is his first year as part of the Viking football staff.
